Our strong academic program includes a phonics-based reading approach using the A Beka curriculum and an emphasis on mathematical concepts, problem solving and critical thinking using the Saxon Math curriculum. Regular classroom instruction also includes language, penmanship, spelling, science and health, history, geography, and art. In addition daily devotional times and Bible lessons, scriptural principles and Christian character training are incorporated in all subjects.
Kindergarten students and elementary students are placed in self-contained classrooms under the instruction and supervision of one teacher and an assistant, if enrollment warrants. Middle school and high school students travel throughout the day to different classrooms for their subjects. The school endeavors to provide a safe and orderly environment where learning is enjoyable.
High school students are provided a college preparatory curriculum with Biblical integration. Students also have the option of concurrent enrollment or vocational-technical training to earn college credit as well.
To round out the student's educational experience, we offer vocal music, band, physical education, computers, and library. In the fall of 2007, we began a new athletic program to round out opportunities for our students with archery, basketball, soccer, volleyball, golf, tennis and football. Students are encouraged to express the gifts God has given them in chapels, concerts, musicals, dramas, and competitions during the school year.
